Lauren Wyatt - PTA
Lauren is from the coast of Maine. She participated in athletics at an early age. Alongside her athletic interests, Lauren developed a love for cooking early on from her grandfather, prompting her to pursue a degree in the field.
After completing her culinary studies, Lauren moved to Las Vegas, where she became a sous chef specializing in pastries at a well-known hotel and resort.
Lauren relocated to Greenville, SC, where some of her family had moved. However, this coincided with the onset of COVID-19, causing her to rethink her career path. Determined to find a new direction, Lauren returned to school at Greenville Technical College, earning her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Graduating at the top of her class, she was assigned to the Simpsonville location of Accelerated Physical Therapy for one of her clinical rotations. It was there that she realized this was the environment where she wanted to be, and in May 2024, she finally joined the APT family, splitting her time between the Greenville and Simpsonville locations.
Lauren brings her goal-oriented mindset and attention to detail to the clinic, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Her sense of humor and warm personality help put patients at ease, fostering strong, trusting relationships. She ensures that patients are appropriately challenged throughout their time in the clinic while actively encouraging feedback to enhance their progress. You'll often find Lauren with a smile on her face, creating a welcoming and positive environment for those under her care.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys attending live comedy performances, concerts, festivals, and hockey games. She is also passionate about animal welfare and actively participates in TNR programs within her community.
